September 24th Planning Commission

Pursuant to Executive Order #2020-129, issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on June 18, 2020, the Milford Township Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7:30 PM will take place electronically due to health concerns associated with COVID-19 and Executive Order 129.
Members of the public may access the agenda materials via the Township website – www.milfordtownship.com beginning September 21, 2020.
Members of the public wishing to watch the electronic meeting may do so by using the link below. If you wish to make a comment you must call in to the number below, please read the procedures for making a comment.

Please note, when calling in by telephone the caller’s phone number will be visible in the public meeting. As an option, most telephone companies have a feature to make phone numbers private by dialing *67. Procedure for public comment by electronic means:
Under Executive Order 2020-129, there must be full opportunity for both the general public and the members of the Planning Commission to hear and be heard at appropriate times during the meeting. Public participants will be muted upon entry to the meeting,but will have a chance to speak during public comment and during any public hearing.
Once connected to the meeting, members of the public wishing to participate in the virtual public comment must alert us that they wish to speak by pressing *9 on their telephone keypad. Pressing *9 will activate the “raise hand” feature signaling to us that you wish to comment.
Participants will be called one a time, as would happen during an in-person meeting. When you are unmuted, please introduce yourself by stating your name and address for the record. You will then have (3) minutes to share your comments with the Planning Commission. At the conclusion of your comments or your (3) minutes, you will be muted and removed from the public comment queue.
Participants may also choose to submit written comments that will be added to the record and included in the meeting packet. Submit any written comments via e-mail to clerk@milfordtownship.com
Procedures for accommodations for persons with disabilities:
The Township will follow its normal procedures for individuals with disabilities needing accommodations for effective participation in this meeting. Please contact the Township Clerk’s office at (248) 685-8731 at least two days in advance of the meeting. An attempt will be made to make reasonable accommodations.

Absentee Ballots for the November 3rd Election are not yet available. They will be available starting on September 24th.

For your convenience there is an after-hours drop box for tax payments, absent voter applications/ballots and other 
correspondence.  The box is located on the brick wall to the right of the entrance doors and is checked daily Monday – Friday

TOWNSHIP OFFICE REOPENING UPDATE

Milford Township Offices Reopened

Effective, June 15, 2020, Township Offices are open to the public. Masks covering the nose and mouth are required for all those entering the Township Offices.

The use of the dropbox outside or online payments at www.milfordtownship.com is highly encouraged, and Township staff remain in the office to assist by phone or email.

Those individuals who do visit the Township offices will need to self-screen prior to arrival. The self-screening protocol is posted at our entrance and are listed below.


THE USE OF THE DROPBOX OUTSIDE OR ONLINE PAYMENTS AT WWW.MILFORDTOWNSHIP.COM  IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.

PRIOR TO ENTERING OUR BUILDING, PLEASE SELF-SCREEN USING THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.

1. Do you have any of the following symptoms?
     a. Fever (temperature of 100.4 or higher)
     b. Cough
     c. Shortness of breath 
     d. At least 2 of the following symptoms: 
          chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, and/or 
          diarrhea (excluding diarrhea due to a known medical reason), and extreme fatigue

2. Have you travelled internationally within the last 14 days?

3. Have you had any close contact in the last 14 days with someone with a diagnosis of COVID-19?

IF YOU FEEL UNWELL OR ANSWERED “YES” TO ANY OF THE QUESTIONS BELOW, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. MASKS COVERING THE NOSE AND MOUTH ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL THOSE ENTERING THE TOWNSHIP OFFICES
