Oak Tree Giveaway
Oakland County Celebrates 200 years with an Oak Tree Give Away!!

 

Oakland County, with support from Milford Township Parks & Recreations Commission, is celebrating the county’s bicentennial with a free oak tree giveaway and planting program.

 

When: Saturday, May 23rd.
Time: 9am until Noon
Where: Parking Lot of the Milford Senior Center 1050 Atlantic Street

 

Oakland County residents are asked to stay in their vehicles as they arrive at the Senior Center, and follow the signage. Volunteers will be wearing masks, and gloves. Volunteers will direct cars and bring the saplings to your vehicle. Limit two trees per vehicle. 

Oak trees live up to 200+ years. What a great way to celebrate Oakland County’s milestone!

All events have been canceled through July 4, 2020. This includes any concerts in the park scheduled prior to July 4th. The remaining events will be addressed in mid-June.
