Summer Deferment

Filing a summer deferment extends your tax due date without penalty or interest charges until February 14th.

You have until September 15th to file your intent to defer.

To Qualify:
An individual has to certify that their gross household income for the preceding calendar year did not exceed $40,000

And meets one of the criteria's below:
  • 62 years of age or older, including the unmarried surviving spouse of a person who was 62 years of age or older at the time of death.
  • Paraplegic or Quadriplegic
  • Eligible Service Person, Eligible Veteran, Eligible Widow or Widower
  • Blind Person
  • Totally and Permanently Disabled
