Parks and Recreation

 

No Dogs are allowed at the concerts: 

Dogs or other pets are permitted in parks only in accordance with the following regulations:
(1)     Dogs or other pets are permitted in parks except for Janowski Park, the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater during performances and events, the Milford Skatepark, and the Milford Mountain Bike Trail.(2)     Except for designated off-leash areas in the Milford Dog Park, dogs or other pets permitted in parks must be leashed at all times.
(3)     Anyone bringing a dog or other pet to a park must maintain control of the animal and must clean up and properly dispose of any pet waste.

There are currently three Junior Commissioner vacancies
Junior Commission Vacancy
The Junior Commissioner is a non-voting, volunteer position serving at the pleasure and direction of the Milford Township Parks and Recreation Commission. Milford Township residents currently enrolled in grades 8-12 are eligible to apply for the Appointment. Up to three Junior Commissioners may serve concurrently.
The Commission meets monthly on the third Monday at 7 pm in the Milford Police conference room to establish and perform ongoing recreational opportunities within the Milford Community.
The Commission hosts the Annual Spring and Fall Community Picnics in Central Park, summer movie events, a winter festival, Annual Summer Concerts Series and a bi-annual Adopt-A-Road cleanup event.
New events and recreational opportunities and always under consideration.
