I am Randal Busick, Trustee of the Charter Township of Milford. Thanks for your interest in Milford Township. Good schools, low crime, low taxes, and a rural character have made Milford a most desirable place to live. That desirability has produced leading growth in value for homeowners in Milford. Milford has been named as one of the communities that delivers best value to its citizens. This translates to low taxes and a good family-oriented community. The marketplace has given a strong vote of confidence to the organization of the Township. We should not tinker with that success. I am proud and honored to have served Milford Township as Township Trustee for 29 years. I was also a member of the Township Planning Commission for three years. I have been honored by the Milford Times as the "Dean of Milford Trustees" I am the longest tenured member of the Board I am deeply aware of the need to preserve the nature, environment, and quality-of-life in Milford Township. My family came to this area in the 1800s.

I am the President and CEO of an international engineering company that specializes in pollution control and energy-related matters. I offer a business discipline and continuity that is unmatched on the Township Board. Our company has been the recipient of numerous Better Business Bureau "A+" Customer Satisfaction Awards. I have testified before the Congress of the United States on U.S. Energy Policy. I was part of the U.S. President's study on improving federal government efficiency. I have been Chairman of an International Conference on Automobiles and the Environment. I was an early supporter and major sponsor of the Huron River Clean-up. I worked for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 26 years.

The major issues that I see confronting the township are: · Managing and Controlling Growth · Improving Traffic Flow and Traffic Safety · Standing up to assaults to our Zoning map and Master Plan · Threats of Annexation · Litigation · Gravel Pit Reclamation · Land Form Preservation · Rural atmosphere preservation · Environmental Issues (waste water, water shed management, storm water run-off management, environmental spills and clean up, recovery of existing contaminated sites)

Thanks again for your interest in Milford Township.

Best wishes,

from Randal Busick, Trustee
