Cynthia Dagenhardt has served the community as Treasurer since she was elected in 2000. She obtained her certification as a Certified Municipal Treasurer, and also a Michigan Municipal Certified Public Treasurer through Central Michigan University. Prior to serving as Treasurer she served as deputy for 13 years.
The Treasurers' office is always available to the public and willing to help out in any way that we can. We not only collect the taxes but issue dog licenses, change name and addresses on properties and a multitude of other services. Cynthia also provides tax services for the senior citizens that need to file Michigan Property tax credits and no longer file for federal returns. There is no problem too big or too small that we won't be willing to tackle for you! If you cannot make it to our office during regular hours there is a drop box outside the main entrance of the Civic Center for your convenience. Please stop by and introduce yourself, we would be pleased to make your acquaintance.
