Pick Up Schedule
Your trash will be picked up by RICHFIELD MANAGEMENT and will generally fall around the same time each week. However, due to traffic, road conditions, and fluctuating waste volumes, your collection time may vary. To insure pick up, please have your rubbish at the curb by 7:00a.m.
Place rubbish in tied plastic bags weighing no more than 40 pounds each. Trash in containers must be bagged. Loose trash will not be picked up.
What About Large Items?
Large items such as furniture, appliances, matresses, carpet, etc. will be collected on the same day as your rubbish. Place at the curb with your rubbish by 7:00a.m. on your collection day. You can call RICHFIELD MANAGEMENT at 248-529-0997 to notify them 24 hours in advance

PLEASE REMOVE ANY DOORS FROM ITEMS BEFORE PLACING AT THE CURB (for the safety of children playing near by). Bundle all carpet in lengths of 4 feet or less and weighing no more than 50 pounds.

Items With Freon Refrigeration and air conditioning units containing refigerant gases or Freon.
Federal law requires Freon be removed by a "Certified Technician" prior to disposal. Richfield does not provide a service to remove the freon. One local provider of that service is Service Appliance at 248-887-5005. Others may be listed in the local phone book. When the refrigerant is removed the item will be tagged and then picked up by Richfield.

Asphalt/Concrete/Bricks Fencing/Railroad Tie--Tree Stumps        
Automobile Tires-- Wet paint cans (Let paint dry and place at curb with lid off)
