Recycling Milford Township Curbside Recycling Guidelines Flyer

***Please rinse/clean containers before putting into recycling bin.

NOTES OF IMPORTANCE:
· Curbside recycling collection will be provided WEEKLY .

· Please use the recycle bin for curbside recycling collection.
· Place the bin at the curb before 6:00 AM on your normal collection day. Recycle collection will be at a different time than your rubbish collection.
· Remember, discard all lids and no miscellaneous items please.

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS for Recycling
Paper Milk or Juice Cartons, Styrofoam Containers/Packing, Garbage, Propain Tanks, Paint Cans, Colored Glass, Medical Waste, Flammable Liquids, Household Cleaners, Chemicals (Dry of liquid), and Wood Items.

**Other items not listed above may not be acceptable.

RECYCLING BIN FULL
Clear plastic bags can be used for additional items if your bin is full.

Plastic Reference Guide
#1-Plastic soft drinks & water bottles, catsup, mouthwash and salad dressing bottles. Peanut butter, mayo, pickle, jelly and jam jars.

#2 - Milk, water, juice, shampoo, dish & laundry detergent bottles; yogurt containers, cereal liners, grocery, trash and retail bags.

#3 - Clear food and non-food packaging, medical tubing, electrical cable insulation, plastic pipes, fittings and parpet backing.

#4 - Dry cleaning, bread and frozen food bags, squeezable bottles e.g. honey, mustard, BBQ sauce, etc.

#5 - Castsup bottles, yogurt containers, margarine tubs, medicine and vitamin bottles, etc.

#6 - Compact disc jackets, food service applications, grocery store, egg containers, aspirin bottles, etc.

#7 - Three and Five gallon reusable water bottles, some citrus juice and catsup bottles.

Remeber to......
Flatten cardboard & cut into pieces, No wax coated cardboard. Remove bags, strings and rubber bands from NEWS PAPERS and tuck in one side of the recycling bin. Please make sure all items are empty.
